To foster an interest in the Mini in its various forms and derivatives.
The Victorian Mini Club traces its origins back 50 years, when the original Morris 850 Club was formed by Mini enthusiasts to provide members with information, advice and assistance on matters connected with the Mini and motoring in general. Although the Mini has changed over that time, our purpose has not changed.
We conduct regular social activities, including drives in the country, and participate in classic car events. We also encourage interest in motor sport, and conduct and participate in a number of events as an affiliate of CAMS. We manage a Club Permit Scheme that helps reduce the cost of keeping classic Minis on the road. We warmly welcome new members.
The month of May has some great motorsport events. Whether you want to compete, or enjoy a day out spectating, there's something for everyone! The Rob Roy Hillclimb is on Sunday 6th of May, with the Pakenham Motorkhana on the following Sunday 13th May. And if that's not enough, there's the Ballarat Autocross on the last Sunday of May.
If you'd prefer a sedate drive in the country, pray for good weather on the weekend of 19th and 20th, when you can choose between a drive to the Maffra Motor Museum, or a day in the wine country for the RACV National Motor Heritage Cavalcade. See the Calendar for full details. May is made for Minis!
Oh, and don't forget June is a great Mini month too: start working out how you can get to the Hay Mini Nationals!
